Being part of the world’s largest ski area, Courchevel is the most easterly of the Three Valleys. The immaculately maintained pistes are wide and beautifully groomed with something to suit all abilities and the lift system is the envy of the skiing and snowboarding world. On top of this, Courchevel isn’t just famous for its skiing – it has become synonymous with style, glamour and sophistication. Whether it’s shopping, dining or simply ‘hanging out’ celebrity spotting, there is plenty to keep you amused after the lifts close. Our Luxury chalets include Chalet Aster in the stunning area known as Belvedere in 1650 and Loup Blanc in the charming, friendly village of Le Praz 1300
What to See and Do
Each week a programme of events keeps you entertained during the day or after skiing. There are firework displays, torch-lit descents, ski races, musical soirees and regional and local markets. Christmas and New Year celebrations showcase an array of activities – especially for the younger ones, with fireworks and all-night dancing on the front de neige. Russian Christmas in early January is feted in sumptuous style and the snow polo at the Altiport is a unique way to pass an afternoon later the same month.
