When is a blog not a blog? We are not entirely sure whether it’s the latest Top Ten list, an update or perhaps simply the News!

Wikipedia says this on the subject “A blog (a truncation of the expression weblog)^[1] is a discussion or informational site published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries (“posts”) typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent post appears first).” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog  This seems to beg the question “what is a weblog” but good old wiki indicates this is the plural of blog! Maybe there should be a hyphen in there somewhere, although I guess a web log is a better description.

Whatever your view on the word ‘blog’, we are delighted to inform you that we will be posting regular blogs/news/updates/top-tens about all that is Alp Leisure Ltd, Meribel, Courchevel, Saint Tropez, Villas, Chalets, Luxury and more right here and we want you to be involved. Tell us what you want to hear about and we will do our utmost to oblige.  We prefer “News” but who’s to argue?

All comments are welcome as we really want this to be an interactive thing, so tell us what would you prefer, blog, news, update or top ten lists! Then again perhaps; chalets, skiing, life in the mountains, luxury or why not something else you would like to hear about.
